FREE Handmade Card Template 1

Over the years we've created card layouts that we find ourselves using over and over again. These basic templates can be used for tons of different cards for every occasion.  I can't wait to share them with you so you can start making meaningful cards for your family and friends. Step 1: Choose a scrapbook paper that conveys the occasion or expresses the person you are creating it for.
Step 2: Choose a coordinating 3/4 - 1 inch ribbon
Step 3: Print or stamp your sentiment on the right hand side (could also be reversed).  Add the recipients name for an extra special touch.
Step 4: Assemble!
Use this template over and over again for an easy handmade card anytime you need one.  Visit our website to see this template in action.

Miss to Mrs Invitation Inspiration

My BFF is getting married!!!  She loves travel so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to design a "Traveling from Miss to Mrs" bachelorette party invitation.  I scoured Etsy.com and got inspired by these items...

Then I scanned in an original watercolor pencil drawing by my mom (Linda of Kards by Kaylee).

I choose this beautiful free Floral Graphic from FreePik
The first draft wasn't cohesive so we rearranged it and put the floral swag as an embellishment on the globe instead of them being separated and voila! We printed the final version on Kraft paper to keep with the rustic theme of the wedding. I love how they turned out! They are available NOW in our Etsy Shop.

Giraffe Birthday Cards

Lately we've been focusing on reusing artwork we already have and repurposing it for other occasions or items. This giraffe was hand drawn by Linda (the mom of Kards by Kaylee) for her great nephew and then later used as a special card for a friend of mine participating in the Big Brother, Big Sister program for her "little sister".
